About Me

I'm Margaret! Thank you for checking out my blog. I love to write, and I love to play/watch tennis, so in my freshman year of college as a D3 tennis player, MatchPointMargaret was born. I transferred to Virginia Tech to study Sports Media & Analytics so that I could get a better sports journalism education. I wrote for the school newspaper for a few years as a tennis and soccer beat writer. After being an editor for the sports section for a bit I decided to stop my work with the school paper and focus on school & MPM. While I love tennis journalism and would love to be a columnist one day for it, I am hoping to graduate and enter the marketing or advertising field, but continue to write on here as time permits.
